Fastroot
Grocery delivery with live order tracking — iOS & Android from one Flutter codebase.
The problem and our solution
Fastroot wanted to launch grocery delivery on both iOS and Android without paying for two separate apps. Grocery also brings hard problems: stock changes by the minute, and customers expect to see exactly where their order is.
We built Fastroot in Flutter, so one Dart codebase ships to both stores. Inventory stays in sync in real time, so customers only see what can actually be delivered, and live order tracking follows each order from checkout to the door.
What we designed & built.
-
01
Cross-platform app
iOS and Android from one Flutter codebase — one team, one release cycle.
-
02
Organised product catalogue
Categories and search designed for quick weekly shopping, not browsing.
-
03
Real-time inventory sync
Stock updates flow to the app as they happen, so out-of-stock items never reach the cart.
-
04
Live order tracking
Customers follow their order from confirmation to delivery.
-
05
Checkout flow
A short, predictable path from cart to confirmed order.
